Our Blogging Guidelines

Humanity Hallows Blogging Guidelines

Humanity Hallows is a platform for you to have your say and show off your talent. Whether you choose to send us your work, pitch an idea or share your own blog with us, please consider the following general guidelines.

We accept content in all forms: reportage, comment, creative writing, reviews, photography, video or audio. Generally, written blogs should be no more than 800 words, although we make exceptions in certain circumstances. If you wish to submit content in any other format our editorial team are always happy to discuss any ideas you may have.

***

Try to be original and have something to say! If you are writing, keep it concise and snappy - especially your introduction. Keep your audience interested and reading to the end. Back up your points with links to other websites and online articles.

***

Important! Check thoroughly for spelling and grammar errors. Whilst we edit all posts prior to publication and hope to minimise mistakes, ultimately you are responsible for your own content.

***

Please don't be offended if your work appears differently to your original submission. Whilst we make an effort at Humanity Hallows to be as faithful to your work as possible, changes are an inevitable part of any editorial process. Acknowledging these changes should provide you with good experience when writing in future.

***

Tell us about yourself! We credit everyone whose work we publish. Send us a couple of sentences about yourself including what you are studying and links to your Twitter and/or personal blog. We'll add this to your blog post and hopefully get you more followers!

***

Whilst we encourage open debate and welcome strong opinions, Humanity Hallows will NEVER publish any content which is slanderous or prejudiced in any way.

***

Keep in mind that blogs which perform the best are interesting, informative, entertaining or a combination of all three! When you are ready to share your work or ideas get in touch with us at:
